![]() What the Brooklyn Sportsman’s Club Does for its members and the community
Rifle & Pistol Range: For practice and sighting in. 100 yd Range hours: 8-dusk M-S / 10-dusk on Sunday Archery Range: For practice – ground and elevated stations.
Dock at the River: For entrance to the river by boat or canoe. Fishing is allowed from dock.
Hunter Safety: $5.00 fee. Pre-registration required. We have 12 certified instructors. Pheasants: Club purchases approximately 200 one –day old chicks each year. Raises them to 12 weeks and releases them on suitable land with no hunting the first year.Survival 82%
Christmas Parties: Adult’s: open-house type – For members. Children’s: for members children living at home and grandchildren. Complete with Santa and gifts.
Workers Party: All workers invited to a Steak Dinner.
Turkey Shoot: Prizes are turkeys. Open to the public.
Rabbit Hunting: Club sponsored hunt. Usually in January. Members only. Breakfast served.
Hunting: No Hunting on club grounds except for club-sponsored hunts. Sponsorship: Ducks Unlimited & Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation yearly
Affiliations: NRA, MUCC WHAT MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO DO FOR THE BROOKLYN SPORTSMANS CLUB: To maintain 25 acres, buildings and projects, the club’s main source of income is through membership dues and Sporting Clays Range. Any and all members interested in doing their share to help are expected to become a Sporting Clay Range worker and help us keep our dues down and income suitable for what we need. |
