About Us

Club mission.

We, the members of the Brooklyn Sportsman’s Club, believe in the principles of sportsmanship, preservation of land, fish, fowl, game, and all forms of conservation, and know that when these principles are followed the community benefits as a whole, particularly the sportsman, farmer and the lover of nature, and therefore, we have joined together in association for the purpose of fostering these principles.

Key activities

BSC offers a 17 individual bay pistol range.  We host weekly practice as well as monthly matches. We offer 9-Pin shooting, 3 gun fun shoots, IDPA, USPSA, and Defensive Pistol Practice. BSC also has several members offering CPL and defensive training classes.  Be sure to check our Events Schedule for times and dates.

 BSC has one of the most versatile Sporting Clays ranges in Southeast Michigan. We have manual and automatic throwers with over 15 different shooting stations.
We offer Sporting Clay shoots on the Second and Fourth Saturday of each month. Be sure to check our Event Schedule for times.

What the Brooklyn Sportsman’s Club

Does for its members and the community


 Rifle Range:

For practice and sighting in. 100 yards 
Range hours: 9:00 am -dusk M-Sat / 10-dusk on Sunday

Pistol Range:   
There are 7 pistol bays available for members to use.

There is also a 10 bay Event Range where we hold monthly and special matches for IDPA, USPSA, and 3-Gun

Sporting Clays:

We shoot Sporting Clays on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month - Year round. We currently have 15 different stations with mostly automatic traps. We shoot 5-stand on Thursday evenings starting at 5:00 pm

 Hunter Safety:

The club conducts two Hunter Safety classes each year, Spring and Fall. The next Hunter Safety class will be in the Spring of 2018

No hunting is allowed on club property

 Dock at the River:       

For entrance to the river by boat or canoe. Fishing is allowed from dock.

 To maintain nearly 50 acres, buildings and projects, the club’s main source of income is through membership dues and Sporting Clays Range. Any and all members interested in doing their share to help are expected to become a Sporting Clay Range worker and help us keep our dues down and income suitable for what we need.
